Live Cover of The Jack by AC/DC
May 21, 2012We recorded Unplugged in Dave’s Room, a full-band, all acoustic record over two days. At the end of the second day, Jamie had to leave at 9 PM sharp, which meant we had 52 minutes left in the studio. We decided to record two covers…but hadn’t learned any. We did another acoustic track – King of Pain by AC/DC – and had 17 minutes left. So we plugged in and did a bare-bones, one-take run at The Jack by AC/DC. If you like AC/DC with Bon Scott, who died in February, 1980, you’ve got to check out the film Let There Be Rock, made in 1979 in Paris.
